Illinois High School Soccer - St. Laurence nudges Rosary
May 1, 2023: Aurora, IL 60506 The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) soccer nipped the host Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Laurence moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to battle the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 3. The Chargers enter the bout with a record of 3-9. Stagg lost 6-0 in their recent league bout against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
In their next game, the Royals battle the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a Chicago Catholic bout, on Tuesday, May 2. Rosary will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Ramblers enter the bout with a 7-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
