The Normal University Pioneers crushed the visiting Normal West Wildcats baseball team by a count of 18-8 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sacred Heart-Griffin for a bout on Tuesday, May 2. Normal University will face a Cyclones team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 15-4.
