May 1, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24501 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA), saw Glass's soccer squad knock off Amherst County by a margin of 2-0.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson Forest for a Seminole test on Friday, May 5. Glass will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Amherst County drops to 2-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to meet the Red Devils in a Seminole test on Tuesday, May 2. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 2-8. Rustburg lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Liberty (Bedford, VA)
