Baker Gators (Baker, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Central Jaguars (Milton, FL), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Baker will battle a Royals squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over West Florida (Pensacola, FL). The Royals record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Central falls to 11-7 on the campaign.
