Washington High School Softball - Lynden bounces Burlington-Edison
May 1, 2023: Burlington, WA 98233 The Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) softball routed the host Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA), 14-4 in Monday's league bout.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Mt. Baker was routed by Blaine (Blaine, WA), 8-2, in a league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, May 3. Burlington-Edison will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-8.
