Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Malvern Prep upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season. The Friars travel to Haverford School (Haverford, PA) to battle the Fords in a PAISAA test on Friday, May 3. The Fords come into the test with a record of 6-6. Haverford School lost 18-8 in their recent non-league test against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA)

With the defeat, Holy Ghost Prep falls to 7-7 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Council Rock South (Holland, PA) to battle the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. The Golden Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-7. Council Rock South lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA)
