May 1, 2024: Oakland, ME 04963 The Messalonskee Eagles got by the visiting Lewiston Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Messalonskee will face a Warriors team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 6. Lewiston will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 24-11 non-league win over Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME).
