Virginia High School Soccer - South County held off by McLean
May 1, 2024: Lorton, VA 22079 The McLean Highlanders held off the host South County Stallions soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Highlanders now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Langley for a Liberty game on Tuesday, May 7. McLean will play a Saxons squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 7-4.
The Stallions (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins go into the Patriot game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Lake Braddock Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 1-1, in a league game.
