New York High School Softball - Gompers bounces Art & Design
May 1, 2024: New York, NY 10022 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Gompers Panthers (Bronx, NY) and the host Art & Design (New York, NY), saw Gompers's softball squad achieve victory over Art & Design by a count of 22-5.
The Panthers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Fashion Industries for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Gompers will face a Falcons squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Stuyvesant (New York, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Art & Design falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The travel to Hunter College (New York, NY) to face the Hawks in a PSAL Manhattan - A East match on Friday, May 3. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 6-3. Hunter College lost 14-12 in their recent non-league match against Seward Park (New York, NY)
