Maryland High School Softball - Eleanor Roosevelt bounces Bladensburg
May 1, 2024: Bladensburg, MD 20710 The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) softball routed the host Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD), 22-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Raiders (20-0) will now prepare for their bout against Suitland (Forestville, MD). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Suitland was routed by DuVal (Lanham, MD), 16-6, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Bowie for a Prince George's County 4A bout on Friday, May 3. Bladensburg will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-5 league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
