May 1, 2024: Cazenovia, NY 13035 Cincinnatus Central Lions (Cincinnatus, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cazenovia Lakers (Cazenovia, NY), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeRuyter for a Section 3 Central Counties - American challenge on Thursday, May 2.
With the loss, Cazenovia falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Solvay (Solvay, NY) to face the Bearcats in a Section 3 Liberty 2 challenge on Sunday, May 5. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Solvay won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cortland (Cortland, NY)
