May 1, 2024: Millers Creek, NC 28651 The West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) softball the visiting East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 2-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Blackhawks (17-0) will now prepare for their bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons go into the Foothills 2A bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Forbush held off North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 8-0, in a league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 8-13 record.
