May 1, 2024: Knoxville, IL 61448 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) and the visiting El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL), witnessed Knoxville's softball squad prevail over El Paso-Gridley by a count of 10-0.
The Blue Bullets now sport a 20-3 record. They play next when they travel to Abingdon/Avon for a Lincoln Trail match on Thursday, May 2. Knoxville will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over West Prairie (Sciota, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 14-9.
With the loss, El Paso-Gridley moves to 3-12 on the season. The Titans host Herscher (Herscher, IL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 12-14. Herscher lost 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)
