May 1, 2024: Elk River, MN 55330 The Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN) softball nipped the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Elks (2-10) will now prepare for their bout against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Buffalo nipped Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 13-7, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sabres play the Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN) in a Central Lakes contest, on Thursday, May 2. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Otters come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 15-3 league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN).
