May 1, 2024: Dublin, CA 94568 Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Valley Christian Vikings (Dublin, CA), 11-7 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Redwood Christian for a Bay Counties - East challenge on Thursday, May 2. Lick-Wilmerding will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA) to battle the Pilots in a Bay Counties - East challenge on Thursday, May 2.
