May 1, 2024: Bronx, NY 10456 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Morris Bulldogs (Bronx, NY) and the visiting Mott Haven Mavericks (Bronx, NY), witnessed Morris's softball squad prevail over Mott Haven by a count of 15-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greene for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1. Morris will face a Trojans squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Mott Haven moves to 2-5 on the season. The Mavericks host Taft (Bronx, NY) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-4.
