In Thursday's non-league game, the host Bellevue West Thunderbirds baseball team scored a close 4-2 win over the Blair Bears.

The Thunderbirds (17-8) will now prepare for their game against Omaha Central (Omaha, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 11-13 record. In their last game, Omaha Central nudged Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 4-1, in a non-league game.
