May 1, 2025: Cochran, GA 31014 The Bleckley County Royals baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane to 1 in the Royals non-league win on Thursday.
The Royals now own a 24-9 record. They take the field next when they host Fitzgerald for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Bleckley County will clash with a Purple Hurricane team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 18-15.
With the defeat, Fitzgerald drops to 18-17 on the year. The Purple hurricane travel to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA) to clash with the Royals in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1.
