The South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA), 13-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brentwood for a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge on Monday, May 5. South Side will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-11.

With the defeat, Carlynton drops to 2-15 on the year. The Cougars host Springdale (Springdale, PA) to clash with the Dynamos in a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge on Monday, May 5. The Dynamos go into the challenge with a record of 3-9.
