Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), 16-13 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Eastern moves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Comets travel to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN) to confront the Braves in a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. The Braves come into the match with a record of 6-3. Maconaquah won 4-0 in their recent league match against Wabash (Wabash, IN)

The Squires now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Wayne Wayne for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Manchester will confront a Generals squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN). The Generals record now stands at 4-5.
