May 1, 2025: Carbondale, KS 66414 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) and the visiting Eudora Cardinals (Eudora, KS), saw Santa Fe Trail's baseball team gain a win over Eudora by a tally of 7-5.
The Chargers (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs enter the Pioneer battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Anderson County held off Louisburg (Louisburg, KS), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Eudora drops to 4-9 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Shawnee Mission West won 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Olathe South (Olathe, KS)
