Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Shipley defeats Friends' Central
May 1, 2025: Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA) and the visiting Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA), saw Shipley's baseball team gain a win over Friends' Central by a tally of 8-2.
The (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Carroll was overwhelmed by Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 13-3, in a league battle.
Next, the face the Roman Catholic Cahillite (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Friends' Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Cahillite enter the battle with a 2-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Devon Prep (Devon, PA).
