In Thursday's league game, the visiting Lower Merion Aces baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Haverford Fords.

The Aces (11-5) will now prepare for their game against Ridley (Folsom, PA). The Raiders go into the Central game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Ridley was overwhelmed by Conestoga (Berwyn, PA), 8-0, in a league game.

Next, the Fords play the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) in a Central game, on Monday, May 5. Haverford will attempt to improve on its 15-1 season record. The Royals go into the game with a 3-11 record after their 12-2 league loss to Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA).
