Delaware High School Baseball - William Penn defeats Wilmington Charter
May 1, 2025: Wilmington, DE 19807 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) and the host Wilmington Charter Force (Wilmington, DE), saw William Penn's baseball team gain a win over Wilmington Charter by a tally of 7-0.
The Colonials (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Newark Charter School was overwhelmed by Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Force face the Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Wilmington Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 8-6 league win over Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE).
