Colorado High School Baseball - Cherokee Trail nipped by Heritage
May 1, 2025: Aurora, CO 80016 Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), 8-7 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Heritage advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Eagles host Ponderosa (Parker, CO) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 8-6. Ponderosa lost 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO)
The Cougars now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherry Creek for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Cherokee Trail will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Bruins record now stands at 11-5.
