May 1, 2025: Hampstead, NC 28443 The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 9-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Pirates now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hoggard for a challenge on Monday, May 5. Topsail will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, North Brunswick moves to 1-10 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to encounter the Buccaneers in a challenge on Monday, May 5. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Laney lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
