Minnesota High School Lacrosse - Centennial can't hold off Simley
May 1, 2025: Circle Pines, MN 55014 Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), 9-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Simley advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Hastings (Hastings, MN) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 0-3. Hastings lost 23-2 in their recent non-league game against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a non-league game on Monday, May 5. Centennial will play a Huskies team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-3.
