May 1, 2025: Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ), 13-2 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Point Pleasant Boro advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 10-1. Freehold Township won 6-4 in their recent league game against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ)
The Garnet Gulls now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. Point Pleasant Beach will play a Lions team coming off a 15-3 league loss to Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 0-9.
