In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the St. Edward Green Wave.

The Fightin' Irish (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Reed-Custer was edged by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 2-1, in a league outing.
