North Carolina High School Soccer - Parkwood held off by Central Academy
May 1, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 In Thursday's league contest, the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) soccer team edged the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Cougars face the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Central Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-12 season record. The Colts enter the contest with a 12-6 record after their 0-0 league Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
The Wolf Pack (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Robinson held off South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.
