California High School Baseball - Sylmar holds off Poly

May 1, 2025: Sun Valley, CA 91352

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) and the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), saw Sylmar's baseball team gain a win over Poly by a tally of 4-0.

The Spartans (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins enter the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Palisades held off Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA), 11-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Parrots face the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a battle, on Monday, May 5. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Dons enter the battle with a 5-15 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Bell (Bell, CA).
