May 1, 2025: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) and the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), witnessed Dakota's lacrosse squad hold off Grosse Pointe South by a score of 11-10.
The Cougars (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Prep was nipped by Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI), 14-13, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Blue Devils meet the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 3. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.
