Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) and the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), witnessed South County's lacrosse squad hold off Fairfax by a count of 7-6.

The Stallions (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Oakton was nipped by James Madison (Vienna, VA), 8-6, in a league contest.
