May 1, 2025: Ankeny, IA 50023 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars (Ankeny, IA) and the visiting Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), saw Ankeny Centennial's soccer squad triumph over Central Springs by a count of 5-0.
The Jaguars (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Valley tipped Durant (Durant, IA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Central Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 4-2 league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA).
