May 1, 2025: Watertown, TN 37184 Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Watertown moves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Purple Tigers travel to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 13-3. Stone Memorial won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Anderson County (Clinton, TN)
The Dragons now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. York Institute will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 4-6.
