The Fairfield Knights softball squad (Fairfield, PA), was routed 17-2 in Thursday's league contest with the host Biglerville Canners (Biglerville, PA)

With the triumph, Biglerville improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Canners travel to Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, May 5. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 4-12. Gettysburg won 15-4 in their recent non-league contest against Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA)

The Knights now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Newport for a non-league contest on Monday, May 5. Fairfield will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 17-8 league loss to Halifax (Halifax, PA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-4.
