New Jersey High School Softball - Chatham bounces Mountain Lakes
May 1, 2025: Chatham, NJ 07928 The Chatham Cougars softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morristown for a NJAC - National battle on Friday, May 2. Chatham will confront a Colonials team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Mountain Lakes moves to 3-11 on the season. The Lakers host Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ) to confront the Ridgers in a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. The Ridgers come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Glen Ridge lost 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ)
