The Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) softball routed the host Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), 12-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Sentinels now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint James for a non-league outing on Friday, May 2. Fort Hill will encounter a Saints team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Saints record now stands at 10-3.
