Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 12-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lowell improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Red Devils host Lake Central (St. John, IN) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Indians enter the game with a record of 19-2. Lake Central won 14-5 in their recent non-league game against Harrison (West Lafayette, IN)

The Trojans now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Hammond Bishop Noll for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. Highland will play a Warriors squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
