Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils (Indianapolis, IN), 19-9 in a league game.

With the triumph, Liberty Christian improves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN) to play the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 0-10. Randolph Southern lost 18-0 in their recent league game against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN)

The Blue Devils now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bethesda Christian for a Pioneer game on Tuesday, May 6.
