Virginia High School Softball - Isle of Wight Academy can't get by Nansemond-Suffolk Academy
May 1, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints edged the visiting Isle of Wight Academy Chargers softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Saints play the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 4-3 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA).
The Chargers (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Windsor edged Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 13-6, in a league challenge.
