Oregon High School Softball - Kennedy bounces Umpqua Valley Christian
May 1, 2025: Mt. Angel, OR 97362 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR) and the visiting Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR), observed Kennedy's softball team prevail over Umpqua Valley Christian by a tally of 14-4.
The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Colton (Colton, OR). The Vikings go into the 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Colton was routed by Perrydale (Amity, OR), 26-10, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Monarchs clash with the Oakridge Warriors (Oakridge, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 bout, on Monday, May 5. Umpqua Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 29-6 league loss to Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR).
