May 1, 2025: Spooner, WI 54801 The Spooner Rails triumphed over the visiting Ladysmith Lumberjacks softball squad by a count of 15-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Rails play the Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) in a Heart O'North challenge, on Friday, May 2. Spooner will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Beavers enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 18-4 league win over Ashland (Ashland, WI).
The Lumberjacks (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cameron (Cameron, WI). The Comets enter the Heart O'North challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Cameron was routed by Barron (Barron, WI), 16-5, in a league challenge.
