The Liberty Charter Lions softball team scored 28 runs and held the host San Diego Academy Cavaliers to 6 in the Lions league win on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chula Vista Learning Community Charter for a Summit battle on Tuesday, May 6. Liberty Charter will encounter a Cobras team coming off a 11-6 league win over Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA). The Cobras record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, San Diego Academy moves to 2-6 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Bonsall (Bonsall, CA) to encounter the Legionnaires in a Summit battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Legionnaires come into the battle with a record of 12-6.
