In Thursday's non-league test, the Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) softball squad the host Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN), by a tally of 8-5.

Next, the Royals meet the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Roncalli will attempt to advance on its 12-1 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 13-7 record after their 21-0 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL).
