The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) and the visiting McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH), observed Piketon's softball team get by McClain by a tally of 3-2.

The Redstreaks (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Adena (Frankfort, OH). The Warriors go into the Scioto Valley bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Adena tipped Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH), 11-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Western Brown Broncos (Mt. Orab, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. McClain will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Mason County (Maysville, KY).
