The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers overwhelmed the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers softball squad by a count of 16-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Blue Bombers (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Colonial - West challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Northern Lehigh toppled Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 16-11, in a non-league challenge.
