May 1, 2025: Shady Spring, WV 25918 The Shady Spring Tigers got by the visiting Princeton Tigers softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Shady Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Riverside (Belle, WV).
The Tigers (9-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Generals go into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Montcalm was nudged by PikeView (Princeton, WV), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
