The Gilmer County Titans baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Buffalo Bison to 2 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now own a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tucker County for a non-league test on Monday, May 4. Gilmer County will clash with a Mountain Lions team coming off a 17-1 league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-14.

With the defeat, Buffalo drops to 16-9 on the year. The Bison travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 10-8. Nitro lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
