Virginia High School Lacrosse - Mechanicsville drops to Godwin
May 2, 2022: Richmond, VA 23233 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs Head Logo (Mechanicsville, VA), 9-3 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Deep Run for a Colonial battle on Thursday, May 5. Godwin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-10 league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
In their next game, the Mustangs Head Logo clash with the Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital battle, on Thursday, May 5. Mechanicsville will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Powhatan (Powhatan, VA).
